The danger in cases where flying saucers affect electrical systems

It is very common to observe UFOs discharging rays of light onto electrical grids or, on the contrary, absorbing energy from them.

The UFO literature gathers many reports of electrical and electronic failures simultaneous to UFO sightings, including effects on cars, planes, houses, buildings, military bases and even on nuclear missile silos. The many evidences seem to clearly indicate a link between both events. What is not known is whether these electrical failures occur because our technology is adversely affected by the proximity of the UFO’s propulsion system or if they are an intentional interference from our visitors. There are researchers who believe that the blackouts or blackouts caused by the presence of UFOs may be some kind of statement or message sent by those who control such vehicles, and others believe that the power outages are purely side effects of their technology. There are many possible explanations for blackouts and malfunctions of electronic devices when close to objects.
The cases that we will see below suggest a variety of causes for these failures, which shows that each event must be examined on the basis of its own evidence. As with everything in Ufology, it is very difficult to generalize, although the accumulated data will always serve as a guide. In order to understand and analyze the differences between the occurrences, the episodes we present are defined in four categories, which we will see below.
Localized power outage
This is Category 1 of this type of occurrence. There are many cases where a localized power outage — that is, limited to only a certain sector — appears to coincide with the speed and direction of a sighted UFO. Two cases illustrate this category. One was witnessed by this author and the other by Gary Heseltine, editor of UFO Truth magazine. Both incidents involved a power outage due to the presence of a UFO in our respective villages.
The incident with Heseltine happened when he was 16 years old. On a balmy summer night in August 1976, he was cycling through the streets of the village where he lived when he saw a brilliant white light flying slowly over the suburb of Ashby, in Scunthorpe, in the county of Lincolnshire, England. The UFO’s presence seems to have triggered the power outage both in the streets and in the residences over which the object passed. Heseltine realized that the artifact was slowly heading towards his house, which made him pedal back and warn his parents that the strange light was about to pass over them and that possibly the UFO would cause a power outage — and That was exactly what happened. When the UFO passed over the house, all the lights in the area went out,
