New Ufos – Aliens

Long-lost moon could be the origin of Saturn’s rings

Among all the planets in our solar system, Saturn is certainly the one that most arouses the imagination, due to its immense rings. Now, a new study suggests that a satellite would have disintegrated as it got too close to the planet.

There is no consensus among experts about his origin or training, not even about his age. However, a study published last Thursday, September 15, in the journal Science, attempts to answer that question. According to this research, 100 million years ago a moon that came too close to Saturn broke up and its traces remained in the planet’s orbit. “It’s satisfying to have found a plausible explanation for their formation ,” confided Jack Wisdom, a professor of planetary science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Saturn, the sixth planet around the Sun, formed 4.5 billion years ago, at the origins of the solar system. However, a few decades ago, scientists assured that Saturn’s rings appeared much later, some 100 million years ago. “But as no one could determine how these rings only appeared 100 million years ago, some questioned the hypothesis” , explains Wisdom. He and his colleagues then built a complex model that allows not only to explain its recent appearance, but also to understand the planet’s tilt.

Saturn’s axis of rotation is tilted 26.7° from its vertical. And since this planet is a gas giant, one would expect that the process of accumulating matter that led to its formation would have prevented this tilt. Scientists have arrived at a recent discovery through complex mathematical models: Titan, Saturn’s largest satellite (of the more than 80 it has) is moving away at a rate of 11 cm per year. This movement little by little changed the frequency with which Saturn’s axis of rotation makes a complete turn around the vertical, a bit like a tilted pawn.

Theory points to the collision of a moon with the gas giant, ripping it apart and forming the rings.

An important detail, since a billion years ago this frequency got in sync with the frequency of Neptune’s orbit; a powerful mechanism that caused Saturn to tilt up to 36°. However, scientists noted that this synchrony between Saturn and Neptune (called resonance) was no longer exact and only a powerful event could disrupt it. They hypothesized that a chaotic-orbiting moon got too close to Saturn, until contradictory gravitational forces caused it to rupture. “It broke into several pieces and these pieces, also displaced, gradually formed rings” , explains Wisdom.

The influence of Titan, which kept receding, finally reduced Saturn’s tilt to the level that can be observed today. Wisdom named the moon Chrysalis (Chrysalis), comparing the appearance of Saturn’s rings to a butterfly emerging from a cocoon. Scientists thought Chrysalis was slightly smaller than our Moon, and about the size of another satellite of Saturn, Iapetus, almost entirely made up of ice. “It is, therefore, plausible to hypothesize that Chrysalis was also made of ice water, which is necessary to create the rings” , emphasizes the professor. Does he believe he has solved the mystery of Saturn’s rings? “We made a good contribution ,” he replied, before adding that the system still contains many mysteries.

Watch a call by Luciano Stancka for the XXVI Brazilian Congress of Ufology:

Lecture title:  UFOs and the Mind: Our Self and the Perception of the Unknown

Lecture Description:  What every ufologist should know about the human mind, parasomnias and hypnagogic influence will be discussed in this talk, as well as Hollywood action and the formation of our beliefs and false memories. How they are, where they come from and who is most subject to them. The conference will also present a presentation of visual, acoustic and olfactory pareidolia, and how our mind builds its truth under the influence of religions, which alter ufological interpretation and generate ufolatry. Finally, we will see what is the role of hypnosis in ufological research, the conflicts in our brain, the action of the ego in ufology and the lies that circulate in between.

Biography:  He is a doctor graduated from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), psychoanalyst and psychotherapist from the Faculty of Biopsychic and Social Sciences of São Paulo. He is also an acupuncturist, homeopath and member of the São Paulo Homeopathy Association. He has 30 years of clinical practice, having participated in pain and migraine control groups. As a hypnotherapist and hypnotist, he has been practicing clinical hypnosis since the 1980s, including researching possible abductees. He employs clinical hypnosis in cases of pain disorders and psychosomatic illnesses such as panic, depression, phobias and fibromyalgia. He was a professor at Silva Mind Control, having promoted courses in several cities in the country and also in Argentina.

During the XXVI Brazilian Congress of Ufology, the ufologist, writer and co-editor of the UFO Magazine, Marco Petit, will be releasing his fourteenth book, where the conference speaker will be autographing the work. The title is “Project Mars Revealed – Life in the Past and Present”, based on Petit’s investigations in the raw image catalogs of the missions underway on the Red Planet, and in the official releases of the space agency itself (NASA) and the ESA All documented with the proper official links.

Description of the lecture by Rebeca Casagrande and Fábio Medeiros at the XXVI Congress:

Lecture title:  Humanity Awakening After the Deadline

Lecture Description:  Phenomena of manifestations of flying saucers, near-death experiences (NDEs), paranormality and mediumship have defied the laws of nature and intrigued humanity for centuries. But scientists and researchers are beginning to decipher these extraordinary facts, in which consciousness can go outside the physical body to other dimensions. Different areas of knowledge point to the same point: the existence of a world far beyond current human understanding. The Data Limit permeated a deep reflection on the moral evolution of humanity, the fact that we are not alone and the possible consequences of the near future, allied to the predictions of the Brazilian medium Chico Xavier. After this probationary period, what may lie ahead?

Biography:  Rebeca Casagrande has a degree in marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. In 2010, she founded the audiovisual production company Cinemakers in São Paulo, which operates in the video and advertising film market. She studied film and television at the University of California. As a producer and screenwriter, she directed the documentary Data Limite Segundo Chico Xavier. Fábio Medeiros is a director at Cinemakers and became a photographer in New York. In 2002, he started his career in professional photography, specializing in fashion and advertising photography. Together, Fábio and Rebeca produced the films Data Limite Segundo Chico Xavier, Time Speech and are consultants for UFO Magazine.

Description of Gener Silva’s lecture at the XXVI Congress:

Lecture title:  Ufological Rock Art: Real Images of UFOs and ETs in the Stone Age

Description of the talk:  With the discovery of images in Stone Age caves of different animals, striking figures close to artistic perfection, combined with hunting environments and strange objects and rituals, which remind a lot of UFOs and aliens, many things about our rupestrian past are clarified. Especially if combined with the studies and research of renowned anthropologists and ufologists, which made the clear impression that there were real contacts with beings from other planets in the air. The lecture intends to demonstrate and encompass this conclusion with images and texts.

Biography:  Lawyer and pedagogue, Gener Silva is an employer union leader, president of the Trade Union of Araçatuba (Sicomercio) and vice-president director of the Federation of Commerce of the State of São Paulo (Fecomercio). Founder and director of the NGO Instituto de Astronomia e Pesquisas Espaciais (Inape), he specialized in the interaction of the UFO phenomenon with archeology and paleontology, researching themes with a holistic view, for 45 years. He is also the coordinator of the series of events Cosmos: Realidade e Mistérios, which this year turns 21 in Araçatuba, with the support of SESC. He is a member of the Brazilian Commission of Ufologists (CBU). He walked, as a pilgrim, the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, in Spain, of 900 km, and the Camino da Fé, in Brazil, of 424 km. He is co-editor of UFO Magazine.
