UFOs that interfere with nuclear weapons

The first nuclear weapons were successfully tested in the 1940s and have been designed with increasing sophistication and lethality ever since. They allow the great powers to dominate the smaller ones.

They also endanger the lives of all the inhabitants of the planet, because even a “small” nuclear exchange, by accident or by war, could trigger a catastrophic and crop-destroying nuclear winter.

Yet since the 1940s, military personnel and investigators have secretly worried about the presence of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in or around sensitive nuclear weapons facilities.

Robert Hastings is a world-renowned expert on the subject, having written the book UFOs & Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites, and produced the documentary UFOs and Nukes: The Secret Link Revealed . We asked him his opinion on this important subject.

TIM COLES (TC): – Tell us a bit about your background and how you became interested in UFOs and nuclear weapons.

ROBERT HASTINGS (RH): – My interest in the subject of UFO activity at nuclear weapons sites began in March 1967, when I was a teenager living in Montana. Although I was never in the military, my father, Master Sergeant Robert E. Hastings, was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, where 200 nuclear missiles were deployed in the surrounding countryside.

After witnessing a radar tracking of five unknown aircraft at the base’s air traffic control tower, where I worked as a janitor three nights a week after high school, I enthusiastically recounted the incident to my dad. He then inquired about his workplace – the base’s main radar installation – and learned that five UFOs had indeed been picked up by multiple radars that night.

Additionally, he was told that they had maneuvered near nuclear missile sites southeast of Malmstrom. When my father told me all this later, I was hooked! Are UFOs real? ! They fly around our ICBMs? ! wow!

Years later, in 1973, I read a magazine article by Dr. J. Allen Hynek – the Air Force’s civilian UFO scientific consultant – in which he spoke openly about UFO incursions. UFOs at nuclear missile sites at another base, Minot, North Dakota. At that moment, I knew that the situation in Malmstrom was very real and quite serious.

Soon after, initially to satisfy my curiosity, I began researching and interviewing Air Force veterans to learn all I could about the apparent interest in UFOs for nuclear weapons. . Over time – 46 years and counting – more than 160 of these people have told me about their personal involvement in such incidents.

Drawing from a declassified US Air Force report by an unidentified Missile Security Policeman at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, regarding a UFO incursion in August 1966.

TC: – Why do you think UFOs at nuclear weapons sites, as opposed to non-nuclear military facilities, are so important?

RH: – Nuclear weapons have fundamentally changed the nature of warfare, given their almost unbelievable destructive power and ability to poison the environment through radioactivity on a planetary scale.

As we all know, during the Cold War, the United States and the USSR effectively held humanity hostage by engaging in relentless nuclear saber warfare. The Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 showed how fragile our collective security was and how quickly a conflict that could end a civilization could break out.

Apparently, someone else – an outside party with revolutionary aerial machinery – took an interest in this existential situation and at some point began to intervene in a limited and covert way.

Dozens of Air Force veterans – most of whom were originally interviewed by me – have now spoken openly about UFOs tampering with American ICBMs, rendering them temporarily inoperative. Documents smuggled out of Russia in 1993 confirm that similar incidents occurred in the Soviet Union in the 1980s.

So, for some reason, the outside third party – who I believe to be otherworldly aliens – surreptitiously made their presence known to superpower military leaders during a dangerous time in history, perhaps as a heavy hint or warning: “Hey, humans! Nuclear weapons pose an unprecedented threat to your species and your planet. Get rid of it! But I am, of course, only speculating. Regardless, the now well-documented UFO incidents at our ICBM sites are long-standing, widespread, and, according to my sources, ongoing.

TC: – You say that UFOs are being exploited intelligently, but is it possible that these are unexplained terrestrial phenomena such as electromagnetic lights or an as yet undiscovered life form living at high altitude?

RH: – If you look at the eyewitness reports of the nuclear missile cases, it’s immediately obvious that it was some kind of unknown aerial device. Go to www.ufohastings.com/documents and read the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) log entries regarding the incidents at Malmstrom Air Force Base in November 1975.

For example, “The Launch Control Facility in Harlowton, Montana observed an object that emitted a light that illuminated the driveway of the site.” Or, “[The missile site] L-1 reports that the northeast object appears to be emitting a black tube-shaped object. Or, “[Malmstrom Command Post] reports a UFO southeast of Lewistown, an orange white saucer-like object. »

Or, “L-5 reports that object has increased speed – high velocity, increased altitude, and cannot now distinguish object from stars. And then there’s this entry, “From four different points: Observation of objects and hunters; when the hunters arrived in the area, the lights went out; when the hunters left, the lights came back on. »

In other words, as security personnel looked on at four different locations, the UFOs played cat-and-mouse with two F-106 jet fighters that had been launched in pursuit, turning off their lights when the planes were approaching their position and reigniting after the fighters returned to base.

And I will add that the only reason jets were sent in was because the UFOs were picked up by base radar, just like any non-stealth aircraft. This is just one example among dozens of declassified documents that summarize similar incidents at missile sites at other bases, or at nuclear weapons storage facilities.

So, no, UFOs themselves are not an unknown life form; the objects look like machines, act like machines, and are undoubtedly piloted or remotely controlled by someone who, in this case, reacted to the attempted interception by US Air Force fighters by taking evasive action.

Are the machines of terrestrial origin? The first known UFO sightings at a nuclear facility took place in January 1945, seven months before the atomic bombings in Japan.

Declassified US military documents confirm three separate radar-tracked incursions by unknown aircraft that flew over the plutonium production facility known as the Hanford site in Washington state. US Navy fighters based nearby actually pursued the objects.

In 2009, I interviewed one of the pilots, Bud Clem, who told me that each UFO looked like “a bright ball of fire…so bright you could hardly look directly at it.” The unidentified aircraft easily outrun the propeller-driven F6F Hellcat fighters dispatched to pursue them.

Is there any credible evidence that any country on Earth was flying such a craft in 1945? No there is not. Despite the exotic claims found on the Internet, there is no verifiable information confirming that the Nazis made a working flying saucer. Nevertheless, someone was operating one – or, at least, a self-illuminating flying sphere – at the Hanford factory before the war ended.

Illustration from the film UFOs and Nukes: The Secret Link Revealed of a UFO directing a beam of light at a Minuteman missile silo near Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota in 1967, as depicted by the Major Gaylan King, retired US Air Force launch officer.

I again maintain that UFOs seen at nuclear sites – from 1945 to the present – are technologically superior vehicles operated by a third party. According to radar data, they can hover, perform tremendous accelerations, make instant right-angle turns, and fly at thousands of miles per hour.

It’s possible there’s a secret, newly developed, ultra-sophisticated aerial device hidden in Area 51 that can do any or all of these things, but it’s certain that no such aircraft have flown. during World War II or above ICBM sites in Montana in the 1960s and 1970s.

And remember, we now know that the Soviets were also subject to UFO incursions at their missile sites, some involving system disruptions. You can’t point fingers at the Russians to explain the Malmstrom events. No, these unidentified aerial craft were clearly not run by any government on Earth. So who does that leave us?

TC: – What is really impressive in your book UFOs & Nukes is that you rely on primary documentation: first-hand eyewitness accounts, military documents, FBI notes, etc. But if I was in government counterintelligence, I would try to neutralize the anti-nuclear movement by making people believe that an outside force is watching over us by sabotaging nuclear weapons. How do you verify that military and other documents are not disinformation?

RH: – Respectfully, you misunderstand the situation. No military or intelligence group, covert or otherwise, has actively promoted the “UFOs are here to save us” narrative by disseminating data that would further your hypothetical disinformation scheme.

On the contrary, documents confirming UFO activity at nuclear weapons sites were jealously guarded and only forcibly released to researchers through the Freedom of Information Act. Sometimes decades passed before they were made available to the public.

Likewise, all of my American military witnesses only made their stories public after I implored them to do so. Like me, they believe that Americans – and the rest of humanity – deserve to know the truth about the reality of UFOs and their connection to nuclear weapons.

The idea that the US government disseminated bogus information in order to promote a false story of events and influence public opinion in some way is simply indefensible. In fact, over time the United States Air Force has done the exact opposite, firmly asserting that UFOs do not exist, even though it is secretly aware of nuclear affairs and extremely concerned. by these. The last incident I heard of occurred at a missile site operated by Malmstrom in January 2018, so the situation is still in effect.

It is important to note that at this time we have no assurance that disruptive activity at ICBM sites – UFOs tampering with our missiles – necessarily indicates that whoever is operating the device is “watching over us”. , as you say.

Other scenarios can be advanced to explain what was reported by the veterans I interviewed. For example, it’s entirely possible that the UFO beings have a nefarious plan for humans, or even an invasion of Earth, and are looking to see if they can disarm us before they strike. I don’t think that’s even remotely true, but we can’t rule it out at this time, given how little evidence we have.

TC: – Can you tell us more about the 160 eyewitnesses: their rank, how you approached them or vice versa, and how the famous Press Club conference was organized in 2010?

RH: – My sources are mostly Air Force veterans, although a handful have been in the Army or Navy, and range from low-level Airman to Colonel . Typically they worked with or guarded nuclear weapons, but some were radar operators, counterintelligence, or pilots.

In all cases, they directly witnessed or participated in follow-up activities related to UFO incursions into ICBM sites, missile or bomb warhead storage facilities, material production sites nuclear or weapons testing areas.

In the 70s and 80s, I asked every veteran I met if they had any information they were willing to share. Beginning in the mid-1990s, I used the Internet to locate potential witnesses who are members of former Air Force groups who can be contacted by email.

In other cases, veterans had attended my lectures and approached me afterwards, or had read one of my articles or my book, and then contacted me. Predictably, most people I have randomly approached over the years had no knowledge of UFO incidents on the bases where they worked. However, slowly but surely, I accumulated a body of testimonials from dozens of veterans who knew of such incidents, starting in the 1950s.

I always obtained their military file, called DD214, before interviewing them, in order to confirm that they had indeed been officers or guards of missiles, etc. In other words, all my sources are checked.

As for the 2010 press conference, one of the veterans, former Minuteman missile launch officer Captain Bob Salas – whose ten missiles were stopped by a UFO at Malmstrom Air Force Base in 1967 – and I decided to try and get some media attention by co-hosting the event.

CNN carried it live, and a number of major US news outlets also covered it, along with several others overseas. I think we managed to advertise the theme of UFOs and nuclear bombs. But, as is the case with most news, the topic quickly faded and did not have a lasting impact on public perception, at least to any significant degree.

TC: – What is the most extraordinary case mentioned in your book?

RH: – Another former Air Force missile launch officer, Captain David Schuur, revealed his involvement in an ICBM activation incident at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota in 1967 His security staff reported seeing a glowing aerial object moving from one missile to another, among the ten he was monitoring.

Meanwhile, in the underground launch pod, Schuur was horrified to see ICBMs go into launch mode, one by one, as the UFO hovered over a given missile. He had to flip an “inhibit switch” to deactivate the countdown in each of them.

This type of incident was also reported by another former launch officer, Captain Larry Manross, who witnessed an identical event at Minot on another occasion. Additionally, one of the documents relating to Soviet UFOs smuggled out of Russia by investigative journalist George Knapp, in 1993, confirms that such an incident occurred at a missile base in Soviet Ukraine in October 1982.

Stills from motion picture film showing UFOs hovering over the Manzano Weapons Storage Area at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico in 1980. Taken by Dr. Paul Bennewitz.

Now, I don’t think those on board the UFOs were trying to start World War III by launching the superpower ICBMs; it’s more likely they were activating the missiles to see how the systems worked – assuming they had the ability to control them remotely – presumably knowing that the launch officers could interrupt the countdowns if they needed to do so in an emergency.

Or perhaps the entities simply wanted to scare the militaries of both countries, sending the message that they could control ICBMs if they wanted to. But I obviously don’t know the reason for these missile activations and I’m only speculating.

TC: – Tell us about your movie UFOs and Nukes: The Secret Link Revealed. How did it happen and what is the strongest evidence in the film?

RH: – A wealthy patron provided the financing for the film. Between 2008 and 2015, I had declined offers to appear on 18 different UFO shows on American, British, Canadian and French television because I would have had no control over how my material was presented.

When they aired, I saw that most of these shows were factually inaccurate and sensationalized, just as I had predicted. I didn’t want to lend my work to a mind-numbing presentation of UFOs intended to entertain the public. When I mentioned all this to my benefactor, he generously gave me the money to make my own movie. I am quite satisfied with the result; it is available on Vimeo.com.

As for the most important case brought up in the film, I would say that the Big Sur incident is unmatched for its shocking nature and historical significance. Two former US Air Force officers, Doctors Bob Jacobs and Florenz Mansmann, claim that a telescopic motion picture camera inadvertently filmed a UFO during a test missile launch at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, in 1964.

Analysis of the film confirmed that a domed and disc-shaped craft maneuvered near the dummy nuclear warhead of the missile in flight, then shot it down with weaponized light beams! All of this was clearly visible when the film was analyzed frame by frame with a magnifying glass. The amazing film is said to have been quickly confiscated by the CIA.

Debunkers have tried unsuccessfully to discredit the case by twisting the facts, but the available evidence confirms that the event did take place. Apparently, the entities that operate UFOs can not only tamper with ICBMs in their underground silos but also disrupt them in mid-flight. This is an incredible revelation!

TC: – Have you been threatened or intimidated for the work you do? If so, what forms did they take and who do you think is responsible for them?

RH: – Yes, for years someone has been trying to intimidate me over the phone. Often when I speak with a military veteran about their incident involving a particular UFO, shortly after hanging up I get a second mysterious call where the person says nothing but breathes heavily into the phone before hanging up.

I take it they – whoever they are – want to let me know they’re watching me and know who I’m talking to. This type of harassment has happened dozens of times and has been going on since 1982. I suspect the CIA is responsible, but I can’t prove it. Also, emails between a given veteran and myself often disappear into cyberspace. We find out later, through follow-up phone calls, that our correspondence never arrived.

It happens regularly, always with people who have witnessed UFO activity at nuclear weapons sites, and it is clearly suspicious. I knew that my activities would arouse the displeasure of one or more US government agencies, so none of this was unexpected. It’s so common that I’m used to it and it doesn’t bother me these days. I just keep moving forward.

TC: – What projects are you working on at the moment?

RH: – I suspect my answer will make some people reading this uncomfortable. The fact is that in addition to my research and public speaking about the connection between UFOs and nuclear weapons, I have had, over the past 31 years, a series of disturbing to terrifying encounters with what I believe to be non-human entities.

In other words, I am an “experimenter” or, more dramatically, an “alien abductee.” I wish that weren’t the case and I deeply regret that this “thing” came into my life. I don’t know if this is a consequence of my research or some other factor, but I am convinced that these encounters are physical in nature and are not simply misinterpreted prosaic events, or due to an overactive imagination, or the result sleep paralysis – all the theories advanced by skeptics to explain the phenomenon of abductions.

Additionally, seven of the more than 160 veterans I interviewed told me about their own encounters with extraterrestrials. Yes, I understand that this is all rather bizarre and hard to believe, but unfortunately it is very real. After decades of secrecy, I have come out in a new book, Confession: Our Hidden Alien Encounters Revealed, co-authored with Dr. Bob Jacobs who witnessed the aforementioned Big Sur UFO incident. high.

In the early 1980s, he began having encounters with entities as well. When I learned of this fact in 2012, we began updating each other after our independent visitation/abduction experiences, which are ongoing.

Finally, in early 2019, Jacobs and I decided to make it all public, even though we knew our credibility would be negatively affected and some people – who had previously taken an interest in our revelations regarding UFO incursions on nuclear weapons sites and had believed in them – would now recoil with skepticism and disbelief from our new revelations.

But things are what they are, and these weird and frightening experiences continue and are clearly beyond our control. Talking about it openly, even belatedly, is no different from our previous efforts to publicly disclose hidden cases related to nuclear weapons.

Although most scientists and much of the public do not yet recognize its validity, the phenomenon of alien abductions is real, global, and extremely important. That these non-human entities are somehow part of humanity’s overall future seems obvious to experimenters; one day it will probably be obvious to everyone.
