New Ufos – Aliens

Physicist: Why haven’t we seen any aliens?

Remember how small we are compared to the universe: For every grain of sand on every beach on Earth there are 10,000 stars, the Milky Way includes billions of potentially habitable Earth-like planets.

The Milky Way itself is only one galaxy among billions of others, and we may live in an infinitely growing number of universes, in other words the multiverse.

Considering all of this, it is reasonable to assume that other forms of life exist outside of our planet. Also, Earth is part of a fairly young planetary system, so it’s possible that there are aliens far more advanced than us.

This begs the question: Where are all the aliens?

This question was first addressed by Italian physicist Enrico Fermi in the 1950s when he asked, “If life is so abundant, why have we never heard of anyone?” »

More recently, University of Manchester physics and astronomy professor Brian Cox attempted to answer this question, which is now commonly referred to as the Fermi Paradox.

Unfortunately for us, Cox’s theory is not very optimistic for the human race.

What is the Fermi Paradox?

There are at least 500 quintillion (or 500 billion billion) sun-like stars, and remember this is a very conservative estimate.

A study (Prevalence of Earth-size Planets Orbiting Sun-like Stars) published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science suggests that at least 1% of all stars in the universe have Earth-size planets orbiting them. around them, which means that 100 billion Earth-like planets could exist.

For those of you who are skeptical of extraterrestrials, let’s estimate that after a billion years of existence, only 1% of these Earth-like planets are developing life.

To help you visualize the situation, this would be equivalent to each grain of sand on Earth representing a planet with life. Even if only 1% of this number developed an intelligence equal to that of humans, it would mean that there are 10 million billion intelligent civilizations in the universe.

If you scale those numbers down using the same estimates to predict how many intelligent civilizations exist in the Milky Way, you’ll get 1 billion Earth-like planets and 100,000 intelligent civilizations in our galaxy alone.

So, I ask you the following question: Do extraterrestrials exist and if so, why haven’t they contacted you?

Welcome to the Fermi Paradox!

Potential Explanation 1 – Physicist Brian Cox’s Theory

Physicist and astronomer Brian Cox is the latest to address the Fermi Paradox in a recent interview.

Although his vision is relatively pessimistic, it is a very real possibility.

Cox states,

“A solution to the Fermi Paradox is that it is not possible to run a world that has the power to self-destruct and needs global collaborative solutions to prevent this. »

He pursues,

“It may be that the growth of science and engineering inevitably outpaces the development of political expertise, leading to catastrophe. We could get closer to this situation. »

In other words, the extraterrestrials could have destroyed their entire civilization through political unrest and/or technological advancement, and we could repeat this same pattern of self-destruction.

Cox’s theory reminds me of Stephen Hawking’s recent warning about artificial intelligence and how it could threaten the entire human race and lead to our extinction.

Could the greatest threat to humanity be humanity?

Potential Explanation 2 – The Great Filter

Created by Robin Hanson, associate professor at George Mason University, the Great Filter (GF) theory suggests that there is an incredibly difficult stage in the evolution of life, a stage that prevents civilizations from reaching the journey interstellar.

The question is:

Where are we in relation to the GF?

Option 1 is that we somehow managed to pass the GF, a task that very few or potentially no other civilizations have accomplished.

Option 2 is that life is very rare, and the GF is actually the fact that life started on Earth in the first place. Option 3, the worst possibility, is that the GF is ahead of us and we are approaching some sort of event or circumstance that prevents us from achieving higher intelligence.

Potential Explanation 3 – Aliens have visited us in the past

There is plenty of evidence that extraterrestrials exist and UFOs have been visiting us for a long time.

More than a dozen NASA astronauts have publicly stated that UFOs have been spotted, including Dr. Edgar Mitchell and Princeton University physics professor Brian O’Leary:

Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign chairman, John Podesta, has been quoted numerous times to discuss the lack of UFO disclosure.

“There is a serious possibility that we are being visited and have been visited for many years by people from space, by other civilizations. »

“Who they are, where they come from and what they want should be the subject of rigorous scientific investigation and not the subject of a ‘push’ story by tabloids. »

If a type 3 civilization actually visited us, we might not even notice.

If a higher intelligence civilization is operating in the fourth dimension, we as three dimensional beings would not be able to see it let alone communicate with it.

American theoretical physicist Michio Kaku explains:

“Let’s say we have an anthill in the middle of the forest. And right next to the anthill, they’re building a ten-lane superhighway. »

And the question is this,

“Could ants be able to understand what a ten-lane highway is? Would the ants be able to understand the technology and the intentions of the beings building the highway next to them? “.

So which explanation is correct?

I believe there is some truth in each of these answers.

In the end, our egos are our greatest enemies and we could end up destroying ourselves; however, I believe we are experiencing a shift in consciousness and therefore the possibility of this happening is diminishing.

I believe life itself is a miracle, so we probably passed the Great Filter, but I think other civilizations did too because of the significant evidence in favor of UFOs and the existence of extraterrestrials.

It’s no secret that the US government has tried to hide this from the public, but maybe that’s a good thing. Perhaps we are not ready to contact extraterrestrials on a regular basis until we have reached a higher state of consciousness, accessed higher dimensions, and become a more intelligent civilization.

No matter what you believe, the Fermi Paradox is clearly a topic worth exploring and discussing!

I leave you with this video to make you think about the other possibility we saw…
